Amy initially joined the Lighthouse team as a Speech Pathologist working with pre-school and school-age children, whilst also working part-time in an early intervention team in south west Sydney, with a focus on young children from culturally diverse backgrounds with autism spectrum disorder and severe communication impairments. Not currently practising clinically, Amy has recently taken on the role of enhancing and optimising our in-house technological resources using her comprehensive insights into language and communication to deliver resources of an exceptional quality for Lighthouse clients.
Amy graduated with a Master of Speech and Language Pathology from Macquarie University in 2008, prior to which she completed a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Linguistics & Mandarin Chinese and a minor in Spanish, from UNSW in 2001.
